Overcoming a Dysfunctional Past to a Dynamic Future
A Leadership Seminar

The seminar will equip the body of Christ to minister to the great harvest in a group setting. There is coming a time when there will not be enough leaders to minister to the great multitude that God will send forth. Now is the opportunity to prepare and equip the leader to not only address their own dysfunction but that of others.

Upon completion of this seminar, the participants will be able to:

• Describe the difference between family function and dysfunction.
• Use scriptures that may be used to overcome dysfunctional behavior.
• Relate behavior traits in your own life that may be destructive to yourself or your family.
• Describe how family traits are passed from generation to generation.

Anger and Stress Seminar

We live in the shadow of Columbine High School. Road rage, violent television media and domestic violence are on the increase! We look closely at anger and stress and how they relate to each individual's life. This five (5) hour course will address stress level reduction and practical Biblical techniques to heal the wounds of anger so the quality of life, health and jobs will improve.

Dear Bride and Bridegroom,
You are approaching the most important event of your life – Your Wedding. It is a very blessed and special time that is a lifetime commitment.

Biography

Dr. Ouida E. Walsh RN, CAC
Pastoral Counselor: Certified Addiction Counselor

Keynote speaker and author, Ouida Walsh is a passionate communicator who really connects with her audience. You will be deeply inspired by Ouida's compassion to heal people who have broken hearts and lives. Her energy is directed to turning a dysfunctional past into a dynamic future using Biblical principles. Ouida's current book is "Restoring the Broken Hearted."

Dr. Walsh has been a guest and speaker on local, state, national and international radio and television. She is the founder and CEO of Break Thru Ministries of Tampa Bay and a Life Coach.

Ouida's career began as a graduate from Angelo State University as a Registered Nurse. She soon excelled and was made Director of Nurses in two major hospitals in Tampa, Florida. She graduated from seminary at Florida Beacon Bible College with a Masters in Christian Counseling. She is an ordained minister; she obtained a Doctorate in Christian Counseling from Faith Theological Seminary.

Dr. Walsh directs the Break Thru Ministries of Tampa Bay. She is a state provider for Pre-Marital Counseling, a charter member of The American Association of Christian Counselors and an Associate of Inscape Publishing. Ouida was a minister/counselor at Riverhills Church of God for five years. Dr. Walsh was a board member for Faith Theological Seminary and Nurses for Christ. She has been on the teaching staff of Logos College, Faith Theological Seminary and NET Training Institute.

Biography

John B. Walsh

John B. Walsh, co-founder of Break Thru Ministries and an Executive Board Member attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1976. He has worked in the accounting field since that date, beginning as a Staff Accountant with a local CPA firm and moving into government accounting in 1978, where he rose through the ranks to become the Chief Financial Officer for the Tampa Sports Authority, a position he held for seven years. Mr. Walsh (Bud) has served on several boards and most recently is serving on the Florida West Coast Credit Union Board along with Break Thru Ministries of Tampa Bay. Bud has taught financial courses at local churches, couples retreats and pre-marriage seminars. He retired as a non-commissioned officer in the United States Air Force in 1975, earning the Air Force Commendation Medal and Meritorious Service Medal along with several other awards during his 20 year career. He is an avid golfer, but his main love is his wife of 47 years, family and three grandchildren.
